Did you know . . . Parents are children’s most significant contributor to their children’s motivation to read?


Parents who pass on a love of reading not only motivate their children to read, but also promote “other academic and nonacademic outcomes, such as achievement in other subjects, better communication skills, reduced depressive symptoms, and increased creativity” (Stephens et. al, 2015).
