My thesis written for my Masters in Education Technology. This research study focused on how librarians taught information literacy into Ontario middle grade (grades 5-8) schools. By examining literature as well as offering a questionnaire and interview to Ontario librarians, this study presents recommendations for best practices of information literacy instruction as well as a snapshot of the state of information literacy instruction in Ontario middle grade classrooms.

From 2016-2018, I worked for an independent clothing distributer called "Buy the Camo," who only sold items with camouflage pattern. I worked as their front line customer service representative as well as their social media coordinator and content writer. Despite really disliking camouflage & the "fast fashion" industry, the (now defunct) blog was very successful. Other blog posts included The Colors of CamouflageAnimal CamouflageCamouflage patterns across the Globe, Know your Camo: A Brief History of the Evolution of Military Camouflage, and Santa is real . . . The Military's Camouflaging of St. Nick

Gamen Group Instagram: Business Research

Gamen Group is a recruitment search firm with a uniquely collaborative approach to recruiting. When creating this social media feed, the owner wanted to focus on women entrepreneurs & empathetic business practices.

Educators and parents have a knee-jerk reaction to flood our students and children with everything we can find about race, acceptance, standing up, fighting for the rights of others. However, I argue that anti-racism is not really what we should be teaching. Dr. Jarret Ruminski states, “the U.S. has moved beyond the need to have a “conversation” about race and has lunged head-first into the intervention deep end. You can’t converse about something that you don’t understand." Teaching anti-racism can’t really be done efficiently because racism is absolutely illogical. Instead, our focus should be on information and multicultural literacy, which not only allows us to recognize different cultural experiences, but also naturalizes inclusivity and equality to the point where we are so appalled at any other notion that we reject it wholeheartedly.

An EPSS is basically a repository that makes information easier to find, use, and organize. The goal of an EPSS is to collate "known" information into one area so it is easier to access for the average user.
