Web 2.0 & Assessment

Even though web 2.0 has been around since O’Reilly mainstreamed it in 2004, it’s use in everyday classrooms has not been easy for some of us.  From finding time and dealing with the vastness of the internet, there is a learning curve to integrating new technologies.

Here we encourage you to learn about one tool at a time.  If you like, try it out with your class.  Small steps are the key to lasting change. May we suggest starting with google docs. Before you know it, you will be learning and collaborating with web 2.0 applications.

So if you’re seeking a non-traditional professional development, a place to collaborate on web applications or view examples of 21st century skills assessments look no further.
